Terms of Use

AutoConvertPros ("the Platform", "we", "us") provides automated bank statement analysis tools for mortgage brokers, accountants, bookkeepers, and individuals ("Users", "you"). The Platform extracts transaction data from uploaded bank statements and generates structured income summaries and risk analysis reports.

The Platform is a software tool only. It does not provide financial advice, mortgage recommendations, lending decisions, or professional services of any kind.

By registering for an account, uploading any document, or using any feature of the Platform, you confirm that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement
• You will use the Platform in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws
• You have read and understood our Privacy Policy

If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or firm, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3.1 Your Sole Responsibility
You are solely and entirely responsible for ensuring that all documents you upload to the Platform are:

• Genuine, authentic, and unaltered
• Legally obtained and legitimately in your possession
• Accurate and complete representations of the underlying financial data
• Uploaded with the full authorisation of the account holder whose data they contain
• Suitable and appropriate for their intended purpose

3.2 No Verification by Us
We do not verify, authenticate, or validate the accuracy or legitimacy of any document you upload. We provide processing tools only. We cannot and do not confirm whether any uploaded document is genuine or accurately represents real financial transactions.

3.3 Prohibited Document Conduct
You must not upload documents that are:

• Forged, falsified, manipulated, or altered in any way
• Obtained without the knowledge or consent of the account holder
• Intended to mislead any lender, regulator, or third party
• In violation of any applicable law, including fraud legislation

Uploading fraudulent or manipulated documents may constitute a criminal offence under the Fraud Act 2006, the Forgery and Counterfeiting Act 1981, and other applicable legislation. We reserve the right to report suspected fraudulent activity to relevant authorities.

3.4 Professional Verification Required
All output generated by the Platform — including income summaries, risk scores, transaction listings, and PDF reports — must be independently verified by a qualified professional before use in any:

• Mortgage application or lending decision
• Accounting or tax submission
• Regulatory or compliance filing
• Legal proceeding
• Any other formal or consequential purpose

4.1 Tools Only
The Platform provides automated data extraction and analysis tools. Nothing on the Platform constitutes:

• Financial advice
• Mortgage advice
• Legal advice
• Accounting or tax advice
• Underwriting or credit assessment
• Any form of regulated professional service

4.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy
OCR and automated data extraction technologies are not infallible. The Platform's outputs may contain errors, omissions, or misclassifications. Income figures, risk scores, and transaction data produced by the Platform are estimates based on automated processing and must not be relied upon as definitive or authoritative.

4.3 Lender Acceptance
We make no representation that reports generated by the Platform will be accepted by any specific lender, underwriter, regulator, or institution. Acceptance criteria vary and change. You are solely responsible for ensuring outputs meet the requirements of the recipient.

5.1 Maximum Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

5.2 Excluded Losses
We shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, consequential, or incidental loss or damage
• Loss of profits, revenue, business, or contracts
• Loss of data or corruption of data
• Losses arising from your reliance on Platform outputs
• Losses arising from decisions made by lenders, regulators, or third parties based on our outputs
• Losses arising from fraudulent or inaccurate documents uploaded by you or any third party

5.3 Free Tier Users
Users on the free tier use the Platform without payment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to free tier users is £0.

5.4 Force Majeure
We are not liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to internet outages, third-party service failures, natural disasters, or regulatory changes.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AutoConvertPros and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms
• Your upload or use of fraudulent, manipulated, or unauthorised documents
• Your misrepresentation of Platform outputs to any third party
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Any claim by a third party arising from your use of the Platform
• Any mortgage, lending, or financial decision made in reliance on Platform outputs

You must not use the Platform to:

• Upload documents belonging to others without their explicit authorisation
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the Platform's algorithms or code
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Platform
• Resell or sublicense access to the Platform without our written consent
• Upload malicious files or attempt to introduce viruses or harmful code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff

Violation of this clause may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

8.1 Subscription Plans
We offer Free, Professional, Firm, and Enterprise subscription tiers. Features and usage limits vary by tier and are described on our Pricing page.

8.2 Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

8.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods.

8.4 Refunds
Refunds are at our sole discretion. We will consider refund requests made within 7 days of initial subscription purchase where the Platform has experienced significant service failures. Contact support@autoconvertpros.co.uk.

8.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of price increases to existing subscribers.

9.1 Our Property
All software, algorithms, designs, trademarks, logos, and content on the Platform are owned by or licensed to AutoConvertPros and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our Platform.

9.2 Your Documents
You retain full ownership of documents you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the service. This licence terminates when the document is deleted (within 60 minutes of upload).

9.3 Generated Reports
Reports generated from your uploaded documents are yours to use. We retain no ownership over report content derived from your data.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe you have:

• Violated these Terms
• Uploaded fraudulent or illegal content
• Engaged in conduct harmful to the Platform or other users
• Failed to pay applicable subscription fees

Upon termination, your access to the Platform and all stored data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Results will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose
• The Platform will meet your specific requirements

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@autoconvertpros.co.uk to attempt informal resolution.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or prominent website notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
