Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out what is and is not acceptable when using AutoConvertPros. Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension and referral to relevant authorities.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how you may use the AutoConvertPros platform. It forms part of our Terms of Use and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
AutoConvertPros is designed to help legitimate financial professionals and individuals analyse bank statements efficiently. We are committed to ensuring the platform is not misused in ways that are harmful, illegal, or unethical.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use AutoConvertPros to:
• Upload and analyse your own bank statements
• Upload and analyse bank statements of clients who have given you explicit authorisation to do so
• Generate income summaries and risk reports for legitimate mortgage, lending, or financial assessment purposes
• Download and share generated reports with authorised parties (lenders, accountants, advisers)
• Use the platform as part of a legitimate professional workflow in mortgage broking, accounting, bookkeeping, or financial advising
3. Prohibited Uses — Document Fraud
The following are strictly prohibited and may constitute criminal offences:
• Uploading bank statements that have been altered, forged, or fabricated in any way
• Using the platform to create, support, or facilitate fraudulent mortgage applications
• Uploading documents to produce reports that misrepresent a person's financial position
• Providing generated reports to lenders while knowing the underlying documents are inaccurate or fraudulent
• Using the platform to assist any person in deceiving a financial institution, regulator, or other authority
We reserve the right and responsibility to report suspected document fraud to:
• The National Crime Agency (NCA)
• Action Fraud
• The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
• The Serious Fraud Office (SFO)
• Any other relevant authority
4. Prohibited Uses — Unauthorised Access
You must not:
• Upload documents belonging to individuals without their knowledge and explicit consent
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the platform without our written permission
• Attempt to scrape, extract, or harvest data from the platform at scale
• Probe, scan, or test the platform for security vulnerabilities without our written authorisation
5. Prohibited Uses — Platform Integrity
You must not:
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the platform's software or algorithms
• Introduce malicious code, viruses, trojans, or harmful files of any kind
• Attempt to overload or disrupt the platform through denial-of-service attacks or excessive requests
• Circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or security measures
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to the platform without our written consent
• Frame or mirror any part of the platform without authorisation
6. Prohibited Uses — Legal and Ethical
You must not use the platform in connection with:
• Money laundering or proceeds of crime
• Tax evasion or fraudulent tax submissions
• Identity theft or impersonation
• Any activity that violates the Fraud Act 2006, Money Laundering Regulations 2017, Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, or any other applicable legislation
• Any discriminatory practice prohibited by the Equality Act 2010
• Any activity that could damage the reputation of AutoConvertPros
7. Professional Users — Additional Obligations
If you are using AutoConvertPros as a regulated professional (e.g. FCA-authorised mortgage broker, ICAEW/ACCA accountant), you are additionally responsible for:
• Ensuring your use of the platform complies with your professional regulatory obligations
• Obtaining appropriate client consent before uploading their documents
• Applying your own professional judgement to verify and interpret platform outputs
• Not representing platform outputs as certified or professionally verified without independent verification
• Complying with your firm's data protection and document handling policies
AutoConvertPros outputs do not constitute professional advice and do not discharge your professional obligations.
8. Reporting Misuse
If you become aware of misuse of the platform — including suspected document fraud, unauthorised access, or other violations of this policy — please report it immediately to:

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Where appropriate, we will refer matters to relevant authorities.
9. Consequences of Violation
Violation of this policy may result in:
• Immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund
• Legal action to recover damages or losses suffered by us or third parties
• Referral of your details to law enforcement or regulatory authorities
• Civil proceedings for breach of contract
We reserve the right to cooperate fully with any law enforcement investigation and to disclose your information where legally required to do so.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or website notice. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
